‘Seasons of Obscurity’

The influence of social media continues to have a significant impact on recognition and success at the expense of self-worth and mental health. As such, I find myself observing the ways in which creatives attempt to mitigate losing themselves to the ebb and flow of our digital landscape while still embodying all of their potential. In identifying a similar struggle that I face every day, I’ve begun to embrace periods of reflection and solitude followed by seasons in the public eye as a natural cadence to my creative process. This body of work illustrates the dichotomy in the embodiment of that struggle.
